Work from Anywhere

Staying connected and being able to effectively get digital work done on the road is critical to our lifestyle. Below are a handful of tools we use to make sure the work gets done.

Verizon MiFi Hotspot

Kyle needs dedicated data usage for his day job and we can’t risk poor WiFi, so we use a combination of this jetpack hotspot and our phones (as hotspots) to connect when quality WiFi isn’t available. You can also buy this through your Verizon plan and pay over time when you have a qualifying line with them.

Lepow Portable Monitor

Space is limited when we travel, and our remote desks aren’t always permanent. But if your job requires an extra screen, this Lepow 15.6” monitor is a perfect fit. It is super thin (.3”) and super light (1.76 lbs), making carrying it around very convenient. We use it in our RV, so that we can easily setup and take down our work station when we need to.

Logitech Bluetooth Mouse

This mouse is simple, reliable and cost effective. We own one for each laptop.

Logitech K380 Multi-Device Bluetooth Keyboard

Just like the mouse. This is a simple, reliable and cost effective.

Bose Bluetooth Headphones

These are the best headphones we have ever owned and we’ve brought them everywhere. They have an incredible noise cancelling function and crystal clear microphone, so they are perfect for enjoying music on a plane ride, or fielding a phone call when you are in a noisy airport. Kyle also uses them daily, even when at home, to take all of his calls for work. While they come with a larger price tag than most, the value is COMPLETELY justified in this case.

Portable desk

This desk is inexpensive and easily collapsable for storage on the go! Don’t have a desk at your AirBNB/rental? No problem.
